Telophase
The telophase is the last stage of mitosis. The main events that happen are:
- The mitotic spindle filaments begin to disappear.
- The chromosomes are decondensing and become less visible.
- The nuclear membrane and nucleoli are formed. The chromosomes, which are at the poles of the cells, will be enveloped with vesicles of the endoplasmic reticulum, forming the karyotheca.
