Diffusion
In diffusion, the solute particles tend to dissolve homogeneously in the solvent, water.
If we place two solutions of different concentration, which are separated by a permeable membrane, the solute and the solvent will pass through diffusion, in favor of the concentration gradient, from where there is more to where there is less concentration, until the concentrations of the two solutions.
The diffusion is a common form of transport of substances through the cell membrane.
